Tonight I sat down to listen to the thesis and think through how to redo chapters 1 and 10 (introduction and conclusions).

Surprisingly I managed to recycle more of the original introduction chapter than I had thought I might. Much of the introduction covers an over view of the thesis which I could keep while removing any mention of games. So in the end I have something like a new introduction which I need to read again but I think makes sense.

I checked the final chapter and I think this too might contain much that can be recycled. If I can get the conclusions in better shape I'm close to a final re-read. After that its redoing the references and I should be OK to send of to the proof reader. Thats' assuming the lit review needs nothing but alan hasn't read anything but the first page so it might be worth it.

I might be able to take a basic rough draft of the thesis in next Tuesday.
